Problem with front-end after installing theme on version 1.6.1.11

Hello there,

 

could somebody help me out with the issue of front-end being broken after installing a new theme on my store?

I've imported the theme from ftp and everything went fine but when I refreshed my shop page the front-end was broken and there were images from the default theme still showing.

I've regenerated the thumbnails but the problem is still there.

What could be the problem?

Have you considered the theme you installed does not work, or is not compatible with PS v1.6.1.11

Hey bellini13,

 

the theme was downloaded from TemplateMonster and it's compatible with Prestashop 1.6.x, so that's not the case.

The theme is working but it still shows images from the default theme over the new ones.

The template was installed with modules , could it be that the new modules are interfering with the old ones?

You should Diseable the modules related to the old theme.

the theme was downloaded from TemplateMonster and it's compatible with Prestashop 1.6.x, so that's not the case.

That means nothing.  I can create a theme and say its compatible with anything I want, it does not make it true.  I would suggest you report any issue you are having to the theme author.
