Redirect Home page to custom HTML Page

Hi ! 

 

I'm kinda new with Prestashop and trying my best, but I'm really lost when it is coming to hosting the website and set URLs. 

Right now, when I go to my site, I am automatically redirected from "mysitename" to "mysitename/en", which is perfect, but I would now be able to set a custom page on URL "mysitename" and then put a link on it to redirect to "mysitename/en".

In fact, I am to trying to set a portal between this site and another, and I'm not sure how to do that.

 

Could you help me ?

You can edit the indexController.php and set a Tools::redirect('whatever url');
It won't add en though unless it's a prestashop page (with a separate controller)
