pol2
I've read that is possible to rip a theme of prestashop, much of them don't protect them, so is possible to get the template from websites with prestashop. How can I rip a theme?Thank you,pol
cecepee
Are you really asking about how to steal copy protected material?
pol2
I am asking because I have read this post http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/3252/#84435 and I want to know if it's true and possible to do that...Thanks
rocky
Yes, it is possible. You can download all the TPL files, CSS, JS and images just by entering the URL in the browser and then saving it to your computer. You just need to understand the structure of a PrestaShop theme to get them.
razaro
But adding this code in .htaccess for .tpl files should protect them ? Order deny, allow Deny from All
rocky
Yes, I just added that code to my .htaccess file and it appears to work. It doesn't block access to global.css though.
