basmistry
I have over 20 Categories - some of these have several sub-catogories I have renamed HOME to Products and if I add that to Top Menu I get a display of all categories with Sub Categories - this is too much so best displayed in Left Column However, I want some Important categories to show on Top menu .... so I added Computers - but this only shows that one item - not the sub items!! (there is nothing but Sub Catogories in Computers!) For example: Computers All-in-one Desktop Towers Laptops Mac I would like to see the sub catogories when Computers is selected... just like when I add Products (or home) to the top menu What am I doing wrong ? jetway
Hi, one question. Are you using the original template or do you have a customized one? Im asking cause some templates have own modules for navigation and so on...
Knowband Plugins
There is a default module in PrestaShop named 'Top horizontal menu', you can use it to alter the display of categories on top menu bar. You just need to configure this module and add the categories that you want to show in the header bar.
basmistry
Hi, one question. Are you using the original template or do you have a customized one? Im asking cause some templates have own modules for navigation and so on... No- its the default Theme with a few tewaks I renamed the Home categories to products - so everything is under products So my Top Menu has Products as an item which works fine and shows sub categories there are other sub categories with further sub categories so Computers is a sub category of Products - shows up fine with sub cats But if I add Computers to the Top menu only Computer show - NO sub cat's
rocky
Your website should be displaying subcategories when you add a subcategory to the Top Horizontal Menu. It does on my PrestaShop v1.6.1.7 test site:
