selectshop.at Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 Install new Prestashop in an extra folder on your ftp. After work is ready, you can than switch folders. For ex: actual Prestashop is in root of your webspace - keep it new Prestashop: add to ftp folder /new (f.ex). Give this folder login restriction (this is for that it will be not visited or indexed, and is available only for you). After you installed new shop, you than move the content of root to a new folder called /old (of course again with restricted access) and the content of your folder /new you move to root. Before you move content, of course you need to change on advanced paramaeters -> SEO & URL's the folders. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
