(Solved) Problem with Logo and Home links

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a problem with my uploaded header logo, and also the "Home" link on all pages take the user to the Index of /Presta.
I can not find out where to change the link in the back office?

Thanks
Dave C

Do you have more than one Prestashop installation on your site? The only file you have to worry about overwriting is config/settings.inc.php, since that contains the "PS directory" that you changed.

DCWTrade,

You need to click on "Modules" in the backoffice of your site
Then look for the "Home text editor" module and click "configure", now edit that one...
towards the bottom you will see how you can change the link

Hope this helps

That wouldn't fix the logo redirecting.

I thought maybe he was asking about the homepage logo.... the one in the middle of the page.
I had the same problem as it would redirect to prestashop home page from initial install.
It fixed it for me, therefore if that is set to redirect on install, then it should also fix it for him if the link is changed.

ok, so what will?

As rocky posted above the shop has been installed in the /presta/ folder and not the root folder so.

To manually change the logo url you would have to edit the header.tpl file and change the code for the logo from

to

Hi all

Thank you all for the help and advice.
I am in the process of moving the files to the Root folder.
Hopefully it should work ok.

I will come back and let you know how I get on!

Hello again.

I cant thank you all enough for the help and support.

This is my first attempt at something like this, so I am a real "newbie".

I have now moved all the files (took 3 attempts) and all is working !

Whoopee.

Again, Thank you all.
