[SOLVED] How to reduced large spaces in a CSS file

Recommended Posts

It seems the spacing is in the image, not the CSS. The image is being resized according to "single-default". You can check whether that exists on the Preferences > Images tab. If so, you can change the size there and then regenerate your thumbnails. If not, you should look for an option inside the smartblog module to change the size of the image. Unfortunately, I've never used that module.

You changed the right spot, but you didn't make the height small enough to remove the white space above and below the image in your first post. You should change the height to 240px to have in that case. The problem seems to be that you want images of different sizes on different pages and no space above and below the images. That's not possible with the way that module is designed. You need to standardize the size of your images so they are all the same size, then set the size of "single-default" so there's no space above and below the images.

Thank you so much, it works!! By committing the single default to a smaller size all later posts get resize to that smaller size eliminating blank spaces (1170 wide x 200 height positions the image in the middle of the screen, cuts blank spaces and gives a good thumbnail). It is also important to regenerate tumblr in the modules configuration.

Thanks a lot!!
