Layered navigation module not working with sort products order by position in category.

i have a category and few subcategories. I set layered navigation for that main category and its subcategories and filters function well. If i choose in BO sorting of products by position inside category, filters will still function but position of products displayed in FO is messed. is not anymore like in BO.
If i go to layered navigation and i remove the layered navigation from main category and i leave it active only for subcategoryes then all works perfect.

Anyone else faced this problem?

I have same problem...
My version is 1.6.1.4.
I want to show subcategory's item in parent's category page so I use Layered navigation but if I use it, "sort by" function doesn't work.
Without Layered navigation, "sort by" function works well...

Preferences > Products
DEfault order by: Position inside category

Modules > Layered Navigation (ON)

The sorting of the products in the category pages are all messed up and not listening to what i have set them to inside the category.

Ok i found something that might help others.

inside the Layered Navigation module settings.
you have an option called:  "Show products from subcategories" Turn it OFF!!!  

Once that setting is turned of it works.

Exactly, your solution works. When turned off this, the products from child categories are loaded and the positions are messed up.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem as you, but in prestashop 1.7 the layered navigation module doesn't seem's to existe anymore (in the backend).
How to do this ?
