Hi,

 

I have setup Prestashop Cloud for a client and all has gone well so far. 

 

I am now trying to setup the Paypal Direct Payments module but am unable to get this to work in sandbox mode.

 

I add the Client ID and Secret from the Paypal Developer account and get the following error.

 

Test connection to PayPal failed, your Client ID or Secret key are invalid, please try again

 

If I use the live credentials the test is successful. 

 

Can anyone advise on what I am doing wrong here?

 

At the moment I am unable to test the new store in test mode which I really need to do before putting it live.

I guess you are running the module under "production mode", not "sandbox(testing) mode".

 

also please check the log to see if the issue is related to following error.

I am new to Prestashop so if I sound a little confused you know why.

 

I don't see any options for 'production mode' so have not set this myself. I have just installed the module and then configured the Client ID and Secret from the settings that have been provided with from my Paypal Developer account.

Most module should be a configurable options for you to set the module as testing mode so you can use testing account. Check the module concours iron screen.
