Cannot save product IF not using SuperAdmin

Hi,

 

If I log in as admin (with SuperAdmin permissions) I can create and save a product successfully.

 

If I log in as a user without SuperAdmin permissions I cannot create and save a product. I get no error, just the product fields are empty as if I never entered it and the product isn't listed in the product list.

 

The non admin users have the permissions to create and save a product.

 

Any ideas?

Sounds strange, are you using any override? What's your prestashop version?

Hi,

 

No overrides are set.

Also just went into Advanced Parameters - Performance - Debug Mode - Disable all overrides and set it to Yes.

 

Logged in as a non SuperAdmin user and tried to create a new product.

 

Still won't create one.

 

I logged in as a SuperAdmin, added a test product and deleted it. Checked the Advanced Parameters - Logs. There are log entries for the test product activities but no log entry for the failed product creation by the non SuperAdmin user.

 

Using 1.6.1.0

Is it a clean installation or upgraded shop? I would say try replacing the whole controllers/admin folder with a clean one from a 1.6.1.0 package
