Site
Hi,I need to backup my 80mb database to transfer to a new server, but doing as instructed on the "backup wiki" I get no files in the zip 0 bytes - I think this may be due to the database size.Could I backup the database tables one by one? and then Import them one by one on a new server? tomerg3
The best way is to use phpmyAdmin, it should let you export as a gzip file, which would be about 10% of the uncopressed size.
Site
Hi,Due to the time it takes to execute, gives me a zip with 0 bytesCould I backup 10 tables at a time, and import them 10 tables at a time back on the new server?
tomerg3
Yes you can, and it doesn't need to be 10, just do the really big tables separately
