Php Fatal Error. What Can I Do?

Hi guys!

 

I've this issue on my Prestashop site.

 

[11-Feb-2016 18:22:46 Europe/Amsterdam] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 90 seconds exceeded in /home/lecobott/public_html/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_cacheresource_file.php on line 196

 

This continuous error depletes resources and sends the site down!

 

What can i do?

not enough information provided.  you need to locate the resource that is taking over 90 seconds to process.

if you are lucky bacuse a lot hosting providers not accept any php.ini file.

create php.ini file in your shop root folder and write these line in file

max_execution_time = 360 ;
max_input_time = 120 ;
memory_limit = 128M ;

if you still unsuccess try contact your hosting provider and tell this errors.

i don't think increasing the time out to 360 seconds is the answer.  if something is running for more than 90 seconds, you want to know why. 

 

as for how, you need to start looking at more logs and determine what that is

you're totaly right 90 seconds is very long time , my fault "360 seconds is not solve " 

we need more log records for problem source. thanks..

It most likely means that the server running this store is not properly equipped to handle Prestashop and the number of customers visiting the site.
