[email protected]
Is there a way to create a completely new database? I've tried using the Cleaner script but there are things that it doesn't initialize. I'm running V 1.6.1.3 from an AWS Bitnami image. Is there a module available that completely re-creates a new database structure? I have phpMyAdmin running remotely to access the database files but don't have the original bitnami download files for the database because it was part of an image download directly to the AWS instance and I didn't back-up the original database (rookie mistake). Thanks in advance for any help. Sryan Edited February 8, 2016 by [email protected] (see edit history)
TribalDexterD
HI, if you want with phpmyadmin, in local, you can duplicate your DB with another name copying only the database structure (without data), but in this way you'll find with an empty DB. [email protected]
Thanks for the reply. I tried this and it's not exactly what I'm looking for. With the completely blank database back office us unable to connect and use it. It keeps bouncing me back to the backoffice login screen.. I copied the employee data from the previous database and it let me loging but simply sat on a blank screen. I'm looking for a base database that allows backoffice to work but has no previous data and has indices set to low values, no remnant theme data. Just initial conditions for back office to operate. Thanks again, this is somewhere along the correct lines. Stephen
bellini13
you cannot just erase the database. if you want to start from scratch, then just install Prestashop again
