koulikoun
Hi everyone, I am trying to get some translation done but cannot find the fields to translate in Localization > Translate. Sorry i'm new to prestashop so I'm not sure what details to provide at this stage. Can anyone give me some hints or advice ? thanks !
Paulito
Hello Would be helpful if you could say what you would like to translate, is it a module translation? Have you a screenshot? What version of PS do you use? is it default theme? Paul
koulikoun
Hi Paul, Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late one! Here are answers to your questions: Would be helpful if you could say what you would like to translate, is it a module translation? --> yes, I believe so, but again, as I'm new to prestashop, it might be something else I think there several modules involved but one example is called "Horizontal menu block" where I can't manage to translate the main category from English to French ; in this case "Shop" (see printshots below). Another example involves the "Share this" button on product page - same thing, I can't find where to translate it. Have you a screenshot? What version of PS do you use? is it default theme? Screenshots: http://pasteboard.co/i7yvBV.png http://pasteboard.co/iaBfq2.png Prestashop 1.6.1.3 It is a theme called Shoe that you can find here http://addons.prestashop.com/en/apparel-shoes-templates/20416-shoes-store-prestashop-16-responsive.html Anyway, thanks in advance for your help and any advice you can give me. tuk66
In general, try Front office translations Installed modules translations under Localization > Translations and search for a text string on the page.
koulikoun
yes, that's the first thing I did. But no luck there... what I want to translate either doesn't seem to appear there, or is already correctly translated (but doesn't show on the front end)
tuk66
You need to select the right theme (of course) and then "Close all fieldsets" and "Expand all fieldsets" before searching.
