Root beer Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Hi guys , i'm new in Prestashop and for the moment i'm trying to evaluate it in local mode just to check its customization features. recently i'm involved to solve a problem but i don't know if the solution is in my no good Prestashop acknoledge or i need module built for this situation. The example is : My products are watches but i want to keep customer to choose for any watch its different watchstrap. the Sequence is: I choose the watch , before to put it in the cart , Prestashop ask me to choose also the watchstrap, after choose one from a list , prestashop automatically put watch & wachstrap in the cart together. My questions are: Is there the possibility to configure Prestashop to do so or i need the installation of a custom module? How can i find eventually a module that make this work?? You'll need a custom module, look through Addons store maybe you find something similar that you could adapt. Otherwise you can develop a custom module to fit your needs. PrestaHeroes USA Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 for ps, you can add product attributes as watch bands, select the default attribute (watch band)...then client can select other attribute if they want different watchband. This is rough overview of how ps can be configured to to this. There are as mentioned above other modules that work with attributes to extend the feature.
