dnugent
Hi folks: I have two sets of attributes - one is for the user to select the type of grip they need, the other is the color. I have color combinations that are attached to the product as well as images for each color. However when the user selects the color the images does not change and the color is never added to the cart. It is actually getting added to the URL (Which means that the form is acting properly), but never gets to the cart or image. No dev errors in Chrome that I can see running ver 1.6.09 HELP Site and product url is: http://www.spdgrips.com/index.php?id_product=106&controller=product After MUCH testing this what I found out: Browser: Firefox - all works OK (Grip and color added to cart properly and image changes on color selection)- so this is not a limitation issue with the number of attributes(which is what I was thinking). Google Chrome : Color selection for image or cart Does not work, I.E.: Color selection for image or cart Does not workOpera: Color selection for image or cart Does not workSafari: all works OK (Grip and color added to cart properly and image changes on color selection)VERY Strange it seems to be a browser related error - I just cannot find ANY errors in any of the browsers dev tools or DOM Dave Anyone on this PLEASE... tuk66
That's really strange. You theme is custom. Can you try the default theme? It is definitely CSS/JS issue.
dnugent
OK tried it with the default template on my localhost - same results IT is not just the color - it is tied into the combinations themselves. If color is first I get the color, but not the grip type. If the grip is fist I get the grip type but not the color?? Is this a bug? If it is it is MAJOR...but again the QUESTION is WHY it works in FF and Safari and NOT the other browsers. IF it was a JS error you would see it in the dev tools, CSS hmm not sure but definitely could be Dave Edited May 28, 2015 by dnugent (see edit history)
