Backoffice menu probem in PS 1.6.0.14

I have a problem that the submenu's in the backoffice of Prestashop align with the button and as a consequence some of their content disappears below the bottom of my page. See the attached image.

 

I have this problem in two installations of 1.6.0.14. In an installation of 1.6.0.11 it works as it should: the submenu appears higher so that all option stay visible.

 

Is there any solution for this?

You can try modifying the maintab.hover (not :hover, it's a class) in admin-theme.css

Might be tricky as it's all compressed. If you manage to, try setting bottom: 0 instead of top: 0

I don't see any effect. Is there some caching involved?

 

I also wonder: normal behavior is centering, not top or bottom. How to achieve that?
