Fatal error: Call to undefined method Db::getInstance()   config/alias.php on line 64

This was transferred to a new account on the same server. It worked fine before the transfer. I even did find and replace in db to make sure it was going to the correct new domain name, even tested in a subfolder like it was in before too. Confirmed the new db name/user/password were right.

It's the same everything. and now it won't work.  White screen on both admin and front end.

Help please!

Thanks but I did see that one. I don't even know what apc IS. Let alone how to change it.

And what's really baffling: this is the same web host. It didn't change hosts, or platforms, every detail in the cpanel is the same (PHP versions, extension versions, Apache versions). So if it worked before, why not now? The only difference is the account owner.

I've had plenty of experience migrating wordpress and joomla but this is all new to me...and it seems to lack the easy migrator plug ins those have.

ok, I searched on wrong part of the error message, now I have new results, search string "prestashop Fatal error: Call to undefined method Db::getInstance() site:www.prestashop.com"

see

https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/50410-urgent-help-please-http-500/?p=331456

make sure to back up before making changes.

There is something different (no expert) with new hosting mysql and old hosting.  For new hosting it's best to do install of your ps version so it can check for server compatabilty issue.  When we move existing shop to new hosting we don't have this information and/or at install the settings are adjusted at installation.

Hoping to hear good news back.
