After changing category name, product detail page redirects to a page with empty content

Hi,

 

I'm using PrestaShop™ 1.5.3.1.  After changing category name in Admin (Catalog -> Categories), the new urls of the product page no longer work and redirect to a page that doesn't have any content.

 

e.g.  the product url  '/15-spring-summer/88-chloe.html' now redirects to '15-aviva?selected_filters=88-chloe.html'

 

Please help.

Have you patched core PrestaShop code or used unusual (3rd party) modules?

I am not sure whether the Prestashop code base was patched before since the code base was not previously in a version control system.   The only third-party module that is installed and enabled is the PayPal module.

 

Please advice on how to fix this issue.
