Miroshnyk Posted April 28, 2015 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Hi there, I have an issue with the module mailalerts, it doesn’t send any emails, to the marchant or the client when a new order is place Prestashop 1.6.0.9. Mailalerts v 3.5.1. I have cheked: - Localization/translation/email/ I have the translation needed for mailalerts - Advance parameter/email/ email is set with SMTP correctly (no error message) and I receive the test email - Yes the module mailalerts is enable - I removed it, re install it, enable it, disable it, enable, reset…… Still same problem, i have no message error. NNGNews Posted April 29, 2015 Share Posted April 29, 2015 Don't know if it's a connected problem but: "notify me when available" doesn't work when a customer put his e-mail address in the field and click the sentence, the cursor bumps to the top of the page and nothing happens (the record is not written in the Database) I think it's a MailAlerts issue (maybe Java problem) Tried to uninstall and reinstall the module but the problem still remain Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kkw777 Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 The Mail Alert Module sends emails only to the employees of the shop. In order for the Mail Alert Module to work properly you need to set an employee with the same email you wish to use in the Mail Alert module. So you have to go under "Administration / Employees" (prestashop 1.6) and create a new employee with the same email you have put in the Mail Alert module.
