L. Brett Sinclair
HelloI upgraded last night from 1.1 to 1.2.5 my 2d shop.I have tested the procedure locally without any problem in the past few weeks without a problem. Now when I go to my admin, a lot of things are messed up: unable to change languages, textbox missing..I'm stuck on a production environment ! I've tried to copy each directory and files from my PC to the server - so far no success.I have no error shown by the installer.Do you have any idea what files must I copy again in order for it to work again.Thank you all for your kind help. tomerg3
Did you keep any backups from before you started the upgrade?Do you have a backup of the database? There may have been a problem upgrading the database, in which case you have two options.1) Restore the old database and try it again.2) Try to fix the database, which can be a difficult job to do. L. Brett Sinclair
I used the PHPMyadmin, the data dictionary using Araxis (tool to compare).I have the following difference between a new prestashop DB and mine:- TABLE ps_blocklink in my DB but not in the PS DB: Normal since PS is doesn't have any CMS pages and I do.- TABLE ps_cart : field id_guest in my DB allow Null = YES ; Default = Null - in the PS DB: No Null allowed <--- WHICH ONE IS CORRECT ? if not NULL, then what's the default value for the old carts ?- TABLE ps_cms_lang : field content is defined as "text" while in the PS DB as "longtext"<--- WHICH ONE IS CORRECT ? - TABLE ps_statssearch exists in the PS DB not in Mine <--- WHICH ONE IS CORRECT ? Some fields are not in the same order in some tables, I would not think it makes a difference ? or does it ?Again, thank you in advance for the help.
