For a specific payment option (pay after delivery) certain data is needed... also a phone number

 

some clients enter their phone number with country code... if so, the payment provider (software) automatically declines the payment and the order is cancelled.

 

is there a way to get a customer to fill in their number as 0612341234  instead of +31612341234

You can create your own validation method. Something like Tools::isDateFormat. But every country has different phone numbers.

 

I would rather add a big red message next to the phone field.
