Recommended Posts

Hi...
I already done everything mention at the wiki to update the new version.
But after i run the update,...
It's take quite a long time in the step 3 = system compatibilty.
And then i got the error notice said that the V.1 already installed...

Hmm,any clue for what i've been done wrong?
Thanx

OKay

It looks like this problem can be solved by opening the settings.inc.php file in the config folder on the server
and change the last command from define('_PS_VERSION_', '1.0.0.8');

to

define('_PS_VERSION_', '1.0.0.5');

GOOD NEWS All Fixed ;-P
2 problems you had here.

The settings.inc.php still refers to prestashop so I changed this to prestashop1

I am going to clearly note this in the update instructions
http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/4073/

the other issue was with your theme. v1 has a few changes & unfortunately some of which are incompatible with your theme. I compared the 2 themes & made the necessary changes

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with ;-)
