Keyren Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Hello I am new to prestashop, I have some questions / concerns: 1- I currently have version 1.6.0.9, should I upgrade to a new version, and if so, the risk of corrupting my data in databases or other? 2- As for performance, I have to go to realize an e-commerce site with over 50,000 articles divided into many categories and sub-categories, prestashop is the right solution? I have also recommended magento, but everywhere I read using prestashop because easier and more intuitive to magento, and equally valid 3- What hosting service do you recommend for a site made with prestashop with the amount of items / categories, I point out that the site will hardware products, construction, tools etc .. so a sector more "niche" so to speak as regards the purchase online, so I do not expect the same traffic to a site that sells electronic or similar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
