iSouthh Posted December 6, 2014 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Dear Community, I am going to become a first time user of PrestaShop and have a simple question that I would like answered . First off, I'm not very tech savy so I was wondering if there is a way to install PrestaShop without paying any money to begin with? I.e kind of like a try before you buy option, just to test the waters I would try and install PrestaShop locally (on my machine) but as said I ain't tech savy and have no clue if you'd have to pay money to begin with. PrestaShop is free so no reason to pay any money for it, before or after. It comes with a lot of free modules and nice default theme that you can customize. So you can install it on your machine and test it as much as you like. Check pinned posts in this sub-forum http://www.prestashop.com/forums/forum/7-installing-prestashop/.
