modules disapear

hi guys so I just switched hosts and the modules disappeared from the back office but the files are still in the server is there a way to reupload them to the back office?

that's definitely not default behaviour of prestashop

have you checked things like permissions for modules directory and all subdirectories with modules ?

Have you tried to just re-upload the Zip-file from Modules?

 

Modules->Go to top right corner and upload the original Zip-file you received.

Also check the permissions is not changed and is being correctly set.

Using an ftp client or the file explorer of cpanel, try and see the 'chmod' property of files and directories. It should be 755 for directories and 644 for files

I check it and it is right so still no solution ;(

What's your new host? You can try with 666 for files and 777 for directory as a test, but don't keep them afterwards as they're too risky

Hi, Guys.

 

I have very similar situation.

I have downloaded smart blog module to my prestashop 1.4 and when i tried to instal it, i pressed Modules button and got an emty window like on the #4 post.

 

What i do wrong? and how can i fix it?

Hi, there

 

The problem was that the module i had installed was for prestashop 1,5

And i have 1,4.

That`s why i got blank modules page.

 

After deleting (by FTP and by clearing from modules list) everything works ok.
