How remove "Continue shopping"?

yes, that is a bit annoying...and wish they had a way to configure from back office, i.e. turn it off

To simply remove the pop up comment out the following lines as I have done below in your blockcart.tpl

I probably should've added that you will find blockcart.tpl in the following location

 

/themes/yourtheme/modules/blockcart/blockcart.tpl

 

That should solve your problem.
