gadcet Posted May 27, 2014 Share Posted May 27, 2014 Ok, I've been having this problem for a very long time now and it will not go away no matter what I do. I've tried to change the Shop name so that it appears correctly on google however it just constantly stays as "E-Commerce" no matter how many times I change it and then save it. In this example 'shop name' | db prefix 'ps_' tip: to find the 'name' of your configuration value that is not saving, right click-->inspect element Using PhpMyAdmin: mysql DB (note good time export and download a back up) now open your db table-->ps_configuration click browse and set display 500 lines from line 0 ctl-F (find) _shop_name (or your configuration value not saving) look to see if there are two(2) ps_shop_name (if so delete the 2nd one) then go configure shop name. because of ps_configuration table it is possible to have multiple 'names'. hope this helps others.
