Valoilmio Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Hi. cannot seem to find the reason. tried Vekia's guide to make Prestashop 1.6 to look like 1.5 theme but after moving the Image Slider to Display home -> it is no longer image slider -> only 1 picture is shown. (if i remove all image slide defaults, then new added pictures are shown each as own picture in the displayhome) i also want to show the new/discounted and selected items in the front page, but after the slider. Also the slider is now at the bottom of the page if i use (new/discount/selected). How to move it to top and make it slideshow type again? Thanks. Valoilmio Posted April 4, 2014 Author Share Posted April 4, 2014 Hi re-tested. 1.removed all "slider" hooks -> still the slider images are shown in the top (with each picture as own without slider function) seems that you cannot remove the slider fully if it is enabled 2. if i disable the module -> then it is fully removed 3. enable again -> now again 3 pictures(3 becaus i have 3 slider pics) is listed in the top even there is 0 hooks of "slider" 4. hook the "slider" to "display_home" -> now the pictures are in the display home and in display top -> page full of pictures. there has to be something hard coded for slider that it is only for display_top and moving will not work (or a bug?)
