Paypal 3.6.6 has issue with checkout for customers from China, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong

Hi, i have updated the paypal module to the latest version 3.6.6 on my prestashop 1.5.4.1, but customers from China, Korea, and Japan could not check out as usual. The error shows HTTP 500, and sometimes it's 10001 from paypal error (internal error) in the followings,

 

PayPal response:
CHECKOUTSTATUS -> PaymentActionNotInitiated
TIMESTAMP -> 2014-03-16T04:42:56Z
L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10001
L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Transaction failed due to internal error
L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Internal Error
L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error
PAYMENTREQUESTINFO_0_ERRORCODE -> 0

 

May i know how to resolve this issue?

today i have a new error from customer trying to checkout, she is from Japan,

 10729L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address State

EmptyL_LONGMESSAGE0 -> The field Shipping Address State is requiredL_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

 

How to solve this issue? Please help. Thank you

yes. today i have added the states to those affected countries. the problem has just been solved for this error. However, i face another issue which is payment made by customer from South Korea. Paypal shows they cannot deliver to South Korea. ANyone has this issue before?
