Left column vanished after upgrade 1.6.0.4 > 1.6.0.5

Recommended Posts

Hi, just updated my test site from the RC 1.6.4 to the latest version via the oneclick updater and all went fine except that the left hand column has vanished so rather than a 2 column theme it's now displaying as a one column. I checked in the backend and lefthand column is ticked in the default theme.

Is this something that has changed and I need to enable or has something bugged out.

I've tried the same on another site and got the same results both sites were originally running on Prestashop 1.5 and upgraded successfully previously to 1.6.0.4 with the left hand column working.

Any help would be extremely helpful, you can see the updated website here

Many thanks

Chris

Hey, well the first thing I would do is upgrade the original 1.5 shops to the 1.6 release, not the testing version RC 1.6.0.4 .

I have tried this on my other test site, went from 1.5.6.2 direct to the 1.6.0.5 release and had the same outcome as can be seen here

Go to Back-office > Modules > Positions. Edit all the modules hooked in left column. By default, all the pages are added in exception so remove all those pages and "Save" the changes.

Hi many thanks for the reply, checked the left column modules and looks like they are set right I think, I've attached an image of one of the setups.
