no download link after purchasing virtual product

Hi.  I'm using PrestaShop 1.5.6.2.  I've added a downloadable virtual product, which a customer can purchase using PayPal.  However, upon completing the purchase, the e-mail receives only a payment confirmation e-mail (that does not include a link to download the product), and no way to actually download it.  The confirmation web page also does not contain a link for downloading.  When looking at the order history after the customer has completed the purchase, it says "You have not placed any orders."

 

Any suggestions for allowing the customer to download the product?

Does an order exist in the back office?  Why aren't you questioning why the order history says there are no orders?

No, I don't see the order listed in the back office (at least, "This month's activity" lists 0 orders).  So why that's the case is another question I have, but since an order at least results in a confirmation e-mail being sent, it seemed it should also result in the download link appearing (either on the web page, if that happens normally, or through an e-mail, which I presume is the more typical way).  Any thoughts on why the order history doesn't show anything?

if you have no order, you cannot have a download link.

 

You need to resolve the order issue first, the download link issue will resolve itself.

Hi

I try also to sell an ebook as a virtual product which is called "livre" sur www.levideos.fr

 

- The process seems to be ok until the paypal payment 

(the simulation is for 1€ ) 

 

- After the payment I ve got this error msg 

 FPDF error: Alpha channel not supported: /datas/vhosts/levideos.fr/httpdocs/img//logo.jpg

of course nothing appears in img/logo.jpg 

 

 

- the link for my ebook is

which is correct 

 

- my ebook seems to be on admin1/download file

 

- On the BO, I see the order (but paypal says that it is always "En attente" pending? 

 

- What is wrong? paypal or prestashop ?
