babyewok
I have PS 1.4.11 and am using this method to override the AdminProducts.php tab: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS14/Overriding+Files However, it doesn't seem to be working. I have created a folder called override in the modules directory and added this in the 'module' field of the catalog tab edit form under employers, but it isn't picking up the changes to AdminProducts.php. I have copied AdminCatalog.php and changed the directory for AdminProducts.php within that to: include(PS_ADMIN_DIR.'/../modules/override/AdminProducts.php'); and then obviously copied AdminProducts.php to the modules/override/ directory and made my changes, but I don't see anything! At first I thought all was going well, as the icon for the Catalog tab disappeared once I 'pointed' the tab to the override folder and then reappeared when I copied the icon to that folder, so it is obviously working to an extent. It just isn't picking up the edited AdminProducts.php for some reason. Edited December 19, 2013 by babyewok (see edit history)
NemoPS
This will not work under 1.4. You must create overrides manually, it won't ever copy them on it's own as it's a feature introduced in 1.5.You must place your override into the main override/controllers or override/classes folderedit: I just noticed the date anyway I'm leaving my answer in case someone has the same issue
