how set same final retail price for all customers

Is there a way to set the final retail product price to be the same for all customers in all countries regardless of vat/taxes?

For example. We set a sales price of EUR 14.99 (incl. vat 21%) for a product and when we sell this product to a customer in another EU country (we are based in NL) the price will be sold for  EUR 14.99.

But when we sell the same product to a customer in US or Hong Kong the sales price will change to EUR 12.39. It seems the vat is taken off and then we have an extra loss since we offer free worldwide delivery and the vat should cover most of the extra shipping expenses.

How can we change it so the sales price will always be 14.99? Is there a module or is there some setting we can change?

At this time the only way to do this would be to set a fixed price per country via 'Specific Prices' in the prices tab at the product. But this is limited to be only per currencies, per country or per group. What would help is to be able to do this also per country zone or region (otherwise we would have to add more than 2500 rows!).

When we try to select 'all countries' the 21% vat is added to EU customers but for EU customers the vat deducted form the sales price.

If we could change the base type for the Product price to be 'tax incl' (instead of forced excl. as it is now) it would solve the problem also.

Can anyone give suggestions how to solve this problem?

What you are wanting and as described would not make sense for the 'native' prestashop to offer out of the box.  For someone in the US seeing a VAT tax, they will most likely hit the red x top right hand of the browser...

For me anyway, you could fix this issue by tax excluding the price, then 'only' showing the tax at checkout.  This will give your prices a consistent look.  So if you want to charge 14.99 euros for a product then do so, then add the vat after at checkout.

I think you mistake is trying to incorporate the taxes into 'other' non taxed countries is the wrong road to go down.  If you need to hide the shipping charges then you must incorporate them into the product price.

Best of luck.
