[PS 1.7] Change cost price, maybe wrong on product page?
NicolasIT posted a topic in Core developers
Hi, as i wrote on title i need to change cost price as it seems wrong. Choose a product, hit tab "Pricing" and check "Cost Price"; it's the same price of "Retail Price" while it should be lower. Maybe the cell calls the wrong value? I guess "Cost Price" should be the same of tab "Options" and go see bottom at supplier reference--> "prices" that the real Cost Price and it's really out of sight. How do i change "cost price" on "Pricing" tab calling the right price on "Options" tab? Thanks, NicholasIT edit: typos- 2 replies

Hello, I have Prestashop 1.6.1.10. I did a {$product|@var_dump} on the foreach loop of the product-list.tpl and I looked on the category page for each datas of the products listed. On those datas, there is the "orderprice" (pre-tax retail price on the back-office): ["orderprice"]=> string(9) "31.700000" When I look at the search page for the same products with the var_dump, there isn't the orderprice, how do I add this variable to the search page layout ? I always thought the search and category layout had the same variable. Where is the controller I need to modify? I couldn't find it. I know there is the price_without_reduction variable available on those pages but for some products, it isn't the same as the order price and the order price is what I need. Regards,

Is there a way to show the main price as the PER UNIT price instead of the total price? So switch places with each other. Currently I have the main price $30 in red and underneath, the unit price in black. I want to switch the order so that when you are shopping you see the unit price rather than the price of the whole case..

Hi guys, I need a different way to get retail price in products. I will manualy set supplier price (in currency) -> that will autoset in wholesale price (in default currency) -> I will set "margin" (there is no way now) -> this will autocalculate retail price. I see in BO Product page (PS v.1.5.3.1) there are supplier price, wholesale and retail prices, but there is no relation between them. I am not familiar with prestashop yet. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, I just installed the prestashop version=1.5.4.1 on my local as well as live server but after putting the products I noticed few errors :-- When we add the new product "Retail price with tax" and "Final retail price" fields at the backend are missing and its providing me the only option to put "Pre-tax retail price:" After saving the product, at the front end it's showing me the "Pre-tax retail price:" as the selling price. Please help me out so that the fields of "Retail price with tax field and Final retail price field" will start getting displaying at the backend. I tried many forum and support topics but none of them are working. Thanks

Is there a way to set the final retail product price to be the same for all customers in all countries regardless of vat/taxes? For example. We set a sales price of EUR 14.99 (incl. vat 21%) for a product and when we sell this product to a customer in another EU country (we are based in NL) the price will be sold for EUR 14.99. But when we sell the same product to a customer in US or Hong Kong the sales price will change to EUR 12.39. It seems the vat is taken off and then we have an extra loss since we offer free worldwide delivery and the vat should cover most of the extra shipping expenses. How can we change it so the sales price will always be 14.99? Is there a module or is there some setting we can change? At this time the only way to do this would be to set a fixed price per country via 'Specific Prices' in the prices tab at the product. But this is limited to be only per currencies, per country or per group. What would help is to be able to do this also per country zone or region (otherwise we would have to add more than 2500 rows!). When we try to select 'all countries' the 21% vat is added to EU customers but for EU customers the vat deducted form the sales price. If we could change the base type for the Product price to be 'tax incl' (instead of forced excl. as it is now) it would solve the problem also. Can anyone give suggestions how to solve this problem?

We are experiencing a problem on our site. We don’t know how long it’s been like this but it couldn’t have been long as we have had the site for 3 years and only just noticed it. Items that have combinations are showing up on the frontend and the backend with double the retail price. However when you go to the modify edit form of the item the retail price is the actual price. Here is an example product. In the backend the item is really $38.99 http://www.pillboxamelia.com/store/product.php?id_product=6170 Thanks in advance.
