if you have changed your translations (product/category) to UK English, then you may very well want to consider keeping it for seo purposes.  This is especially true if you are using a uk ccTLD.

 

the only issue is that 1.5.6 will can not detect and set visitor language properly when two en-xx...it will only match on the first it finds.

Hello,

 

I did a basic install, using english as the default language to install, nothing else has been touched but i noticed in the localization > localization > advance.

 

There is language locale (en) and country locale (gb).

 

so El Patron, can i just confirm, i should leave everything as is ?

here is some good info to start with on multilingual sites, yes that includes different variants of English.  I don't have enough information to guide you it really depends on how your url's are set up...
