updating prestashop 1.3.7.0

Hi all 

I have a prestashop 1.3.7.0 version in my hands, which I have to update ( the template, some modules, etc ).

 

I have installed it in local, with its database. But when I'm goint to test it in local, all the screen is blank. I suppose that is due to php version.

 

I'm testing it with xampp php version 5.3.8., but what version is of prestashop 1.3.7.0?

 

I've read in this forum that this module can help: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/administration-tools-prestashop-modules/5496-1-click-upgrade-autoupgrade.html

 

But firstly I need to solve php version

 

What do you recommend me?

 

Install a fresh instace of prestashop latest version, and after this, import database?

 

Or maybe upgrate prestashop from 1.3.7 instace?

Hi, thanks for your answer. I changed it to display errors, and now I see:

part of the guide is how to search for the error for some 'resolution'...

 

I would suspect disabling smart cache from the back office my suffice, but it may need to be cleared (delete the files) but I'm not 1.3 savvy so

 

this free module might run on a 1.3
