[SOLVED] Cant Login to Back Office after 1.5.6 upgrade

After upgrade to 1.5.6 i cant login to my back office. i requested for new password but still it says employee does not exist

sometimes it is necessary to clear browser cache, have you tried it? or just in different browser?

I am having the same issue.  I have cleared my browser cache.

solved... tnx   i guess it was just crappy internet connection it just suddenly opened the back office

I am still having this issue though.  I am getting an error from the classes/shop/Shop.php on this line:

 

                // Hmm there is something really bad in your Prestashop !
                if (!Validate::isLoadedObject($default_shop))
                    throw new PrestaShopException('Shop not found');

Well I just found out that all my tables are empty and db is broken after upgrade.  That's why I cant login.

really weird that your tables are epty after update, have you got any database backup?

My host is restoring the website to the point before the update but now I am scared to try to update again.  I thought the update was successful because I logged out and logged in again but then tried the next day and it was gone.
