Multistore question: 2 domains and different product url's

Hi there,

Really struggling to find an answer to this specific question.
I was just wondering if two e-shops which basically have the same products , but they are written up differently.. (slightly different url, description, title, etc) be still paired up somehow and managed from one back office and share the same stock level, etc?
For example: http://ecmsähkötupakka.com/fi/sahkotupakka/256-ego-ce7-deluxe-kit.html and this http://sahkotupakka-kauppa.com/aloituspakkaukset/8-ego-ce7-ce5-deluxe.html

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Hi, if you want to share stock then you would have to keep the same descriptions and other information. It would be linked together in the database. If you want to have separate stock then you can have different content.

Hi Benjamin, thanks very much for getting back to me. But let's say what happens if I have 2 websites for 2 countries.. say targeting finland and sweden. Same products but obviously descriptions or url do not match at all. Is that NOT possible to have same stock then? Can these products not be connected somehow manually?

Hi there!

In your shop group settings, as you use multistore (apparently), you can set "Share available quantities to sell" to true, this should keeo the same stock for both your shops, having the very same products translated in 2 languages

Nemo1, thanks very much for  the advise. I must admit I have not tried the multistore feature as yet (tried but didn't work out for me yet).

Would you tell me if these two products given in my first post could theoretically be 'connected' to share the same stock?
