Cannot checkout - no carriers available

Evening,

 

Unfortunately I've spent a few hours trying to solve this issue. Seems to be fairly prevalent across all users as well.

 

When I go to checkout from my store I cannot do so because "No carriers available for the address "My address"."

 

I've Googled it and searched around here and have tried numerous things:

 

  • Country for Paypal checkout is set to UK only
  • UK (only enabled country) is set up as a country linked the Europe Zone
  • Europe is the only Zone enabled
  • "Default" is set up as a carrier covering both EU Europe and non-EU Europe
  • Default is the only courier and is set with weight/size limits of up to 9999
  • My test product is set to weight/size of 1

I'm still getting the same issue.

 

Further, I tried enabling detailed stock management along the way and added a warehouse in the UK and added my test product to it and still no luck.

 

Further insult to injury now is that for some reason my site is now stuck on free delivery despite having £1.99 set in the shipping cost field.

 

I'm not sure what the next step is but it would be a shame to fall at this last hurdle after skinning the store etc.

Hi,

 

I don't think the countries/zones have been changed, although it is set to only allow orders from the UK. UK is set up as part of the Europe zone which is enabled for the courier (Test). See below screenshots for details.

 

Any further suggestions or advice? I would love to get this sorted!!

Hmm seems I have somehow managed to get the shipping method to show up now (see attached for details of the changes I made).

 

The problem now is that it seems to only offer free shipping despite me having a figure in the shipping page. Any ideas on this?
