[solved ]Stripe 0.9.5 woudn't install on PS 1.5.5.0 (.$folder.' you uploaded is not a module)

Recommended Posts

I installed this yesterday on a 1.5.5.0 shop and it loaded perfectly.

can you tell us the steps you used to install, blow by blow would be nice...thanks

In PS BackOffice > Modules > search for Stripe > I see it's "not installed" > Click "install" > the page loads and I get the result in the upper red square:

2 errors

  1. The '.$folder.' you uploaded is not a module
  2. Module not found

SOLVED:

I searched for stripejs in the /modules folder but it wasn't there.

I uploaded the stripejs folder via FTP, then installed in BackOffice > Modules.  It installed just fine.

Thanks El Patron!

Well, maybe not solved...but at least you are not stuck getting your Stripe module up and running.

Try loading another module,  google analytics or something from add-on's.  At some point that issue needs to be resolved.

Happy selling...

Hello - I am having the same problem but with the Brinks Checkout Module. I tried installing a different module and it works though when installing the Brinks module I get the following:

The Module page returns 2 errors

  1. The '.$folder.' you uploaded is not a module
  2. Module not found

I tried uploading the module as well though I can not seem to find the location of the module to erase it and replace. Thank you in advance for your help!
