No sub categories showing in Layered nav Configuration, Only Home -1.5.5.0

Hello,

 

I am using 1.5.5.0, upgraded from 1.5.4.1.  i have imported some products and gone to configure the layered navigation.

 

upon creating a new template only the 'Home' category is available, even though I have around 20 other categories. All have products in with features an attributes.

 

I have reset/uninstalled the layered navigation module, and it is still only displaying the Home menu and none of the sub menus.

 

I also have another version of my site running .1.5.4.1 and have never had this issue, has something changed here in 1.5.5.0?

 

Thanks for any help or advice anyone can offer.

 

Update

 

I just uninstalled then re installed the module again. It still only shows the 'Home' category when creation a new Layered nav template, however it does say 22 categories selected. It just will not expand the home category in order to allow me to specify the exact categories...

I am also having the same issue. It was working but after upgrading it is not. Same thing, no categories showing - only Home.

Anyone else experiencing this issue, or have an idea of how to solve it?

I still cant figure this one out. I spoke to a friend who is also having this issue, she has gone back to 1.5.4.1.

 

I would rather stay with this version for now. 

 

If anyone knows a solution or any suggestions to this i would be very grateful.

I have upgraded to 1.5.5.0 and have exactly the same problem. It is reported as a bug. A workaround is described here, haven't tried it yet myself... Good luck
