Ramanan2907
I have configured prestashop store in catalog mode using the backoffice. I would like to customize the theme so that only products and categories are displayed and nothing else. For e.g bottom frame which shows money back guarantee and in-store exchange etc -like to remove those. How can this be done? Any pointer is appreciated. Thanks Ramanan2907
vekia
to remove :money back: etc. from footer section you have to disable block reassurance module: if you want to display only products and categories - you have to disable all of unwanted modules (like block specials, block new products, contact block etc.) you can do everything under the modules tab in back office
PrestaHeroes USA
also to add to veika's post... you could modify the modules controller to not display the corresponding .tpl file when shop is in catalog mode. this would allow you to display your full shop when 'not' in catalog mode. this is for example, how your 'cart' hides when in catalog mode. we have two modules that manipulate the shop catalog mode by 'session', see my signature for private shop modules.
