Help with Header

I just started tweaking my PrestaShop store and disabled a bunch of modules because I don't needs them like, Suppliers, Manufacturers...Now my header looks like this, with the logo overlapping the TopHorizontalMenu, which isn't horizontal anymore. I would like it to look like it did in the beginning when my logo was at the top and then comes the horizontal header. Can you help me to get it back to that look?

have you tried moving things around in Live Edit? I had a similar problem and that fixed it.

 

Modules > positions > Live Edit (on the right hand side)

Can you add the URL to your shop part? The main domain doesn't get to the Prestashop part yet... It's easier to help when able to access the pages.

I'm having exactly the same problem with logo overlapping the TopHorizontalMenu. LiveEdit doesn´t allow to move logo, user block and tophorizontalmenu

it's because your store is under the catalog mode.

 

you want to run store under this mode? let me know, because everything depends on it

You are right about catalog mode, but I need this mode.

One small suggestion to change :

themes/default/css/global.css ,line 581:

 

.blockcategories_footer, #footer .myaccount, #block_various_links_footer,#social_block, #block_contact_infos {

float: left;

width: 225px; <-- change this to spread out the footer columns a little more (i.e. to align them better)

I'm sorry to say I have jumped ship and and switched to ShopSite. I just needed a simple shopping site and getting rid of modules was proving too difficult to accomplish what I wanted to. Thanks for your input.

No problem, just do what feels best for you and works for you. Whenever you feel that Shopsite is not sufficient for your needs, don't hesitate to try the (new) PrestaShop again. We're here to try to help you with (start up) problems,
