Question... why am I not receiving contact form info through email?...

Hi all...

 

I am using a prestashop 1.5 at: http://qip.pt/index.php . The template used is an 1.4 though...

 

Regarding the contact form, on the link "Contact us", I really wanted to receive its info through email, I think it is suppose to do that, but the fact is that even though the form is going through, I am not receiving any email with the info submited, I only receive a message on the backoffice message system.

 

I do have the email configured correctly in:

- preferences » store contacts

- advanced parameters » email

- customers » contacts

 

...so why am I not receiving an email when a contact form is submited?...

sometimes its related to the spf, which detects email spoofing

what email you use in your back office? it is related to your shop domain? if not, the answer is probably in spf

have you got any possibility to check your server mailer logs?

 

for outgoing mails?

...I don't think I can... I can call my hosting provider (they are usually very helpfull), to see if they can though... what should they be looking for?

they should check outgoing mail log, they should look for outgoing mails to mailbox that you've got defined in your store
