polynikes300
Hi Please can you take a look at the attached file which shows a screen image from the filezilla ftp connection tool to my prestashop. My shop was set up by someone else who has since 'gone away', so I am rtying to find my way around. My question is looking at the folders list, is this a standard set of prestashop folders that you all have? if so where are the image folders? index page etc? Obviously I'm struggling along here and can't make any changes or updates if I don't know where anything actually is? Fo example I want to put up a background image on the home page.... where is it? Thanks Poly

RogueWaveLimited
There is usually a "documents", "www" or "html" folder. Look for these the store will probably be in one of them.
benjamin utterback
Also, are you familiar with the modules section too? Not everything needs to be changed via the FTP files. However, you need to find the PrestasShop folders like admin cache calsses config controllers css docs etc.... Those are the PrestaShop FTP files. Usually located in the public_html or www sometimes "root".

polynikes300
Hi Thanks to you all for your help and advice. I paid someone to set this up for me and offer a support service, unfortunately they then 'WENT AWAY' and although I got the passwords etc I didn't have the folders on my pc. So I have copied the server side to my pc and found vhosts has my presta files. I'm struggling to understand this process made worse by picking up where it was LEFT OFF! Great learning curve eh! though I have no idea when I might get my site running & selling. Thanks again to all who checked this out! Poly
