tomerg3 Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 I mean are you using a 3rd party module, or the built in Prestashop Shipping? I do not believe that PS 1.4 had an option to apply free shipping to products, so you would likely require a module. If you are using a 3rd party module, you would have to make some modification to it to allow for free shipping for certain products. But the problem is when they combine the service (free shipping) with products (non free shipping) it automaticly become free. If you set weight based shipping, and keep certain products as 0 weight, if you add regular products to the cart, and see a shipping price, you should be able to add products with 0 weight, and the shipping would remain the same. Or did you set it up manually? tomerg3 is right, if you add products with 0 weight to your cart, it will not affect the shipping price because it has no effect on the total weight. Thorsman Posted July 10, 2013 Author Share Posted July 10, 2013 Hi Benjamin, Posten is set up manually. All my products is at weight 0. And when I set up "Free shipping starts at (let's say) 3kg ". Then I change the certain products (actually it's a service not a product) to weight 3 and add it with the non free shipping products to the cart it all become free shipping when it's time to pay. Are you saying I have to costomize all the products weight to 1kg and the service product to weight 0? Hope you understand and sorry for bad explaining. For specific products, you can use Price Rules to give discounts on specific product(s), this will not give you free shipping on specific products but it will be an alternative.
