webguy
Dear community. I have an issue where I am trying to style a product attribute layout to look like this (the grey striped rows with product ticks: http://www.countryhouseoutdoor.co.uk/p441/Barbour_Chelsea_Sportsquilt/product_info.html?products_image_group=Black Is this workable within the Prestashop environment? Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
NemoPS
Have you already managed to create the table?
webguy
Hello Nemo1 Firstly thanks for taking the time to reply to my query. Much appreciated. Do you mean the HTML table for the layout? Then no I haven't. I'm trying to find out if a) it can be done re-writing the controller for the product attributes b.) if I'll have to add my own code to re-interpret the product attribute data or c) whether there is an add-on/module that already performs this function. NemoPS
It's not that complicated, as you simply have to edit the product.tpl file to create the table. There is an {if $groups} there, within a div#attributes. That's the html part you need to edit
webguy
Hello again. That does seem obvious from a stylistic point of view but as a functional aspect of showing product attributes less so (to me anyway ). I can see how we can change the attributes individually but not how to combine their attributes together and then list them in such a way as the example I cited: http://www.countryhouseoutdoor.co.uk/p441/Barbour_Chelsea_Sportsquilt/product_info.html?products_image_group=Black I have looked at some other live Prestashops and the only example I have found that seems to come close is http://www.thefabshoes.fr/sandalias/571-pistache.html?id_color_default=82 and these are done as list items but the result I desire is effectively every colour and size listed on the page rather than clicking on the colour of my choice and then having the size options visible as a result of that click. Apologies for my lack of understanding and thank you for your advice so far.
