AndSwe Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Hi, I'm trying to install the latest Prestashop (1.5.3.1) but 50% into the installation (Configure shop information) I get an error: "An error occured during installation..." No info about what error and no log that I can find. Up to that moment everything when smoothly. Anyone know how to go about fixing this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
benjamin utterback Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 HI AndSwe, could you detail how you downloaded PrestaShop and what steps you took to install it. I would possibly download PrestaShop again and try to reupload it. Sometimes files can become corrupt during transfer. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AndSwe Posted March 20, 2013 Author Share Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) Hi Benjamin, I downloaded Prestashop from http://www.prestashop.com and are trying to install i localy in a VirtualBox-installation. I'm currently running a copied version of Prestashop 1.4.8.3 on the same virtualbox, without any problem. Tables get created without any problem but seem to be without content. I selected to have the demo products installed but the table "ps_product" is empty. All checks on the first page of the installation was green.
