zebul666 Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 hello, I am trying to install prestashop 1.5.3.1 on a free awardspace.com web hosting the installation process of prestashop fails at 43% (an error occured during the installation - which one ??) when filling the databases ' table (remplissage des tables de la base) I wonder if it's a fail with the mysql server of the host . But what ? why ? I don't understand. I have tried 4 times and it happens at the same time during the installation process. All check are ok in the first step of the installation process except the php magic_quotes that are activated the databases are ok. what are the minimum requirement of the mysql databases to install prestashop? benjamin utterback Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Hi zebul666, I'm really not sure but I would think it is coming from the host... You are using Free Web Hosting? benjamin utterback Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Hi Zebul, do you have special characters or accents in your title? That is what the thread you provided was mentioning. Also, that was a different version and the installation failed at different points for different reasons. Have you tried to install PrestaShop on a localhost first?
